Toby turned two months old

I am truly blessed with a fabulous baby! He is so easy going and mild mannered. Hardly ever cries (less than a half hour total all day, seriously) and SLEEPS ALL NIGHT (like 8:30/9:00ish to 6:30 or later)! Aren't his cheeks the cutest! I could take a few more babies like him if pregnancy weren't such a killer on me!

Brown and Pink Wedding Cake

This is the third BIG cake I did within a 4 week span! Whew! It should have been the easiest wedding cake I've ever done, but it gave me such problems! It was fun to learn to make chocolate fondant (and it is rather yummy). The bride said she was happy, so that's all that should matter!

Corbin is TWO!

Well, I'm up late and can't sleep. I decided I should do some updating.....
Corbin turned TWO in April! I can not believe how fast he is growing up! We kept it low key for his birthday. I took him and the kids to the park after Lainey got out of preschool and invited 3 of his friends to come join us for a picnic of PB&J sandwiches, cheetos, and bananas. Oh, and blue cupcakes. Then they enjoyed some time playing. I never did get a picture of all of them together. That night we went to dinner at (where else) McDonald's. Then it was time for cake and presents. I started to make him a Diego cake, and for some reason, just had a hard time. Around 3:30 I realized it just wasn't going to be done in time, so I frantically called (where else) Walmart to see if they had any "decent" boy cake I could pick up in a couple hours. We settled on tractor trucks, and he loved it. He got some fun presents....a Tonka truck, a water table for outside, a Toy Story ball, clothes, Toy Story the movie, a puzzle, a game, a coloring book, and some other things.

Yummy cupcake.....

Presents....

Corbin is such a great addition to our family. He's had a hard time adjusting to a new baby, and I never knew the "terrible two's" really existed until now, but when he's not having fits, he really is such a sweet and caring little boy. He loves to help put Lainey to bed each night. He turns on her nightlights and her music and always has to give her a kiss. Whenever you sneeze, even if you're rooms away, you'll hear a tiny little "bless you ". He adores Lainey and will follow her around copying her. And best of all, he still lets me snuggle with him and loves hugs and kisses!

Beginning of April

I'm not sure where the month of April went to, it kind of (okay, really) flew by. But here's some highlights of the first half of the month.....

We took the kids to Shreveport to play and do some birthday shopping.....

We played at the children's museum.

We saw Billy and his brother from the show "The Exterminators". Nate kept telling me to get a picture with them, but I wasn't pushy enough.

I'll have to keep this handy when they're older to show them that they really do love each other.

Lainey took this one. We may have to enter it in the county fair this year.

The Easter Bunny came and visited us......

We were attacked by the greenish-yellow stuff again......

This is our carport covered in pollen, you can kind of see some footprints in it. It is nasty, and it happens every spring and it covers EVERYTHINGGGGGGGGG, and it lasts for weeks. Then you get to spend hours spraying off everything once it's finished!

We took advantage of a great spring day and played at the park.....

I made a cake......

My next post will be of Corbin's 2nd birthday!
